Daniel Sends His Love, 1997 - 1999

Written and Performed by Timothy Campos

Daniel Sends His Love is a semi-autobiographical story of a young boy and his struggle to cope with his grandmother’s death and his own life. It’s an endearing one-man show, which conveys: warmth, tenderness, craziness and the integrity of family.

“His transition from exuberant little boy to dignified priest is flawless and amazing. Whether he is playing a man or a woman, and whether the character is young or old, Campos’ characterizations are sympathetic and funny… With Campos’ talent, both as an actor and as a writer, theatre-goers have a rising star they can look forward to seeing for some time to come.“ - The Observer (1997)

If any audience member wants to be able to say ‘I knew him when’ about Timothy Campos, they should see ‘Daniel Sends His Love’.  – The Observer & Eccentric (1997)

“There are some tears along the way, and a large dollop of humor. Campos’ charm and sincerity give Daniel’s brief story a rosy glow, like a memory that refuses to vanish but shines in many facets.” - The Los Angeles Times (1998)
